After months of searching, we finally bought a house! I’ve always been interested in smart home tech, but now that we have a house, it feels like the right time to test it out. Whether it’s in life or business, I’m always searching for smarter and quicker ways to do things, so smart home tech fits right in.
So, over the next few months, I’m going to load up on more smart tech that makes sense for any normal person, so I can share which products are really worth the cost, and which are just a fad. I already have a long list we’ll be trying out including smart lights, locks, cameras, blinds, vacuums, refrigerators, doorbells, baby monitors, cribs, security systems, lawn mowers, power outlets, dimmers, speakers, ceiling fans, ovens, washers, dryers, thermostats and sprinkler systems. If I missed any, let me know 😉
Because I’m going to be featuring a lot of these new smart home products, I decided to create a new section for it here: Smart Home. You’ll already find some of the products I’ve reviewed, and I’ll be adding a lot more soon.
On another note, we’re going to be renovating the kitchen, master bathroom, and garage in our new home, so watch out for those posts as well. I’m planning on tackling most of the labor myself, so if you’re in the same boat, you’ll be able to see how hard it is for an average guy with no background in construction to handle.
I’m exited to share all the new tech and remodeling on here, so if there’s anything else you’d like to see, leave a comment below or shoot me an email!
